ronnie bailey
passed away peacefully in his sleep on the 24th feb 2008 aged 58.
he lived in bexley , kent.
he had a daughter-sammy and 2 sons - charlie and danny. he had a loving family with 2 sisters and 1
brother and parents that were with him til the end caring for his every need.
cancer finally got the better of him.

ronnie (tiger) was full of fun , made everyone laugh with is famous sense of humour.
ronnie had a love for music and would listen to all sorts of classics, he was a talented ,
knowledgable man with an answer for everything , which is why so many people admired him. he was
honest and very much a family man. he didnt need to tell his children he was proud of them... he
would just wink.. that was enough.
ronnie was my dad. i suppose in a way , i am carrying on his legacy as i am often compared to him.
my favourite memory is friday nights, he would bring home macdonalds for us all without fail and
sweets. that was my favourite day of the week.
he had his way of dealing with us back then , like if he wanted to watch a certain programme on
telly , he would lick a fiver and stick it on my head and say if that is still there whan this has
finished , you can keep it!! i have never sat so still in all my life!!
my dad loved having his feet tickled , he would pay us a pound to do it, i would always try to
sneak off half way through and then his foot would wiggle. he always got away with a full hour!!
my dad taught me to swim , well , kind of!! he took us to the swimming baths at elephant and castle
and chucked me off the top of the big slide.!
there are so many memories , i could go on and on.
all i can say is that i will miss him more than ever and i hope he is up there looking down and
feeling proud of his acheivements because everyone he met , he touched there hearts. love you dad
xx

if anyone has any memories of my dad , please share them on this site. x

my dads funeral send off was just how my dad would of wanted it to be.. he would of been so proud ,
the jazz band and funeral parlour did a fab job , here are there websites if you wish to contact
them with thanks

I want to especially send a big kiss to Ronnies mum and dad, no one expects to lose their kids, what ever the age , so this has to be the worst thing anyone should have to bare to go through in life without a doubt Godbless you both and please be strong and look after yourselves. Im not forgetting you Ronnie, nite nite babe, sleep tight love Tina xx. These are for you also Anna , thinking of ya sis xx
